Who is this course for?

The AQUA Certification in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies, is a knowledge-based certification designed for non-medics working towards a career in the Beauty and Aesthetics industry.

Course overview

During this course students will discover the principles of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the human body. This includes the structure and inner workings of the human body including the cells, skin, hair, skeleton, muscles, and nerves. You’ll also learn about the different systems working to keep the body healthy, including the circulatory and lymphatic systems, respiratory and endocrine, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems.

The course will also cover common diseases and disorders to give students the knowledge needed to identify those conditions. Students will learn the appropriate course of action to take and how to treat clients with diseases and disorders effectively.
